Have Questions? We have answers.
Many people struggle with handling conflict and violence because they feel overwhelmed with what they don't know.
Our professionals will help you obtain the information you need to guide you in your decision making and support you in bringing about peace in your environment.
What is violence?
Violence is not the absence of conflict. It is the severe mismanagement of interpersonal skills that perpetuates physical, mental, and emotional harm of an intended target. There is no excuse for violence. Thus we must take a stance to support the end of violence in our communities.
What is peace?
Peace is the freedom to live without violence. It is an evolutionary development that fosters harmony, empathy and understanding in relationships. It is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to resolve conflict through nonviolent means.
Can positive relationships be built?
Positive relationships can be established with the refinement and mastery of essential interpersonal and social skills that allow us to create productive relationships with each other and ourselves.
